Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you share when you enquire about coaching, training or our services.

Last updated: 7 November 2026

1. Who is responsible

This policy describes how Jonathan Choufany, operating as Humans Decoded, based in Mount Lebanon, Lebanon, handles personal information for coaching and training enquiries, related communications and the website at jonathanchoufany.com. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Jonathan Choufany / Humans Decoded.

This policy covers our handling of information received through website enquiries, email, direct messages, phone or WhatsApp contact, and Facebook or Instagram lead forms. Any separate notice provided for a particular service should also be read.

2. Information we collect

Our current coaching lead form asks for your name, email address, area of interest and intended starting timeframe. A phone number is collected only if the form asks for it and you provide it. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

3. How and why we use information

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity: steps you request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in handling enquiries and operating securely where permitted and balanced against your rights, consent where required, or a legal obligation.

We contact you about the enquiry you submit. If you provide your phone number for follow-up, this may include a call or WhatsApp message about that enquiry. Separate promotional communications require any permission applicable law calls for; submitting a coaching enquiry is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing.

4. Facebook and Instagram Instant Forms

When you submit a Humans Decoded Instant Form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta makes the information you submit available to us. Some fields may be prefilled from your Meta profile; you should check them before submission. We use those details and your answers for the purposes explained in this policy and in the form.

We may manage submitted enquiries through Meta’s lead-management tools or transfer them to a spreadsheet or a customer relationship management system used to organise follow-up. Access is limited to people who need the information to handle the enquiry or support our services.

Meta separately processes information under its own Privacy Policy. Submitting a form does not make you a client or create an obligation to buy coaching.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your coaching enquiry details or provide them to other businesses for their independent marketing.

Information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, email, messaging, appointment scheduling, file storage or enquiry management, to the extent needed to provide those functions. Depending on the channel you choose, these include Meta’s Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp services. Providers may also handle information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

We may disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security. We do not publish your enquiry or use it as a named testimonial without your permission.

6. International processing

Humans Decoded is based in Lebanon and works with international prospects and clients. Your information may be accessed in Lebanon and processed in other countries where relevant service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use the safeguards required for that transfer.

7. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry, provide requested services and maintain necessary business records. The period depends on whether you become a client, the status of our communications and any applicable recordkeeping or dispute-related obligations. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.

If you ask us to stop contacting you, we may retain a limited suppression record so we can respect that request. Some information may remain in backups or records that must be retained for legal reasons.

We take reasonable organisational and technical precautions appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No website, email, messaging platform, internet transmission or storage system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability or that unauthorised access will never occur. Please avoid sending sensitive or confidential information through an initial enquiry.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You can ask us to stop enquiry follow-up at any time. Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may also have rights to access or correct your information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent for processing based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

Email jonathan@jonathanchoufany.com with your request. Please use the email address associated with your enquiry where possible. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and explain any lawful limits on fulfilling a request.

Where applicable, you may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

9. Website technology, analytics and cookies

Our hosting provider processes technical requests and security logs to deliver and protect the website. We also store a strictly necessary local preference to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics.

If you opt in, Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) may collect page views, approximate location, device and browser information, online identifiers, and website interactions to help us understand and improve our website. Google may process this information internationally. Google Analytics is not activated until you consent through our preference controls. If no measurement ID has been configured, no Google Analytics tag is loaded.

You can reject optional analytics, accept it, or change your choice at any time using Cookie settings. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website. When you withdraw consent after Google Analytics has loaded, the page reloads without loading the tag again. Withdrawal does not retroactively erase data already collected.

Google Analytics data retention and settings should be reviewed in the Google Analytics property when it is activated. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers or enquiry text to Google Analytics. See Google’s privacy information at https://policies.google.com/privacy and information about its business processing at https://business.safety.google/privacy/.

External links to social networks, WhatsApp, booking tools and other services are governed by those services’ own privacy practices.

10. Children

The private-coaching lead campaign covered by this policy is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect children’s information through this campaign. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and address it.

11. Scope, responsibility and limitations

This policy explains our information-handling practices; it is not a coaching agreement or a guarantee of any particular business, professional or personal outcome. An enquiry does not create a coaching relationship, confirm a booking or guarantee availability. Any purchased service is subject to the terms agreed separately for that service.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy of information submitted by users or the delivery of every message. Please check your contact details before submitting an enquiry and contact us again if you do not receive a response. Do not rely on an enquiry form for urgent or emergency assistance.

No additional contractual warranties. This privacy notice describes how personal information is handled. It does not create warranties or contractual remedies beyond those arising under applicable law or a separate agreement. General website and enquiry content is provided for information and does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. Coaching suitability and outcomes depend on individual circumstances and are not guaranteed.

Limits on responsibility. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability arising solely from independent third-party actions or events beyond our reasonable control, except where we have a legal responsibility for those events or have caused or contributed to the loss through a breach of our duties. This includes independent platform outages, telecommunications failures and third-party account compromise. This wording does not excuse failures to meet any security, provider-selection or other duty imposed on us by law.

Limits on losses. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability in connection with access to general website information or submission of an enquiry for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, and for loss of business profits, revenue, business opportunities or anticipated business savings. This exclusion does not apply to statutory privacy compensation, mandatory consumer remedies or any other loss for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation relating to a purchased service must be set out in the separately agreed service terms; this notice does not impose a financial cap on privacy claims.

Interpretation. Any limitation applies only to the extent it is lawful and enforceable in the particular circumstances. If a provision is unenforceable, it does not reduce the protections required by law or prevent the remaining provisions from applying where lawful.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, excludes responsibility for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, waives any applicable statutory privacy or consumer rights, or removes obligations imposed on us by applicable law. References to third-party services do not exclude our responsibility for our own acts or omissions where the law imposes that responsibility.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services and information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
